Inauguration of Haxhi Zeka kulla in Leshan

On the 1st of June 2010 in the village of Leshan, municipality of Peja, was inaugurated kulla of Haxhi Zekës.Kulla of Haxhi Zekës is a monument under the protection of cultural heritage, thanks to its architectural and historical values.
Field measurements of the two traditional houses in Prizren were completed

The first stage of documentation of the traditional houses was completed with the survey and studies about the characteristics of the two traditional houses in Prizren. Measurements were evolved from 19 to 24 April 2010. Two houses were selected for measurement: House of family Mullafazliu , a characteristic house of the 19th century, and House of family Rekathati, a characteristic house of the 20th century.
Workshop on Cultural&Natural Heritage and Tourism was held in Junik

Workshop on Cultural and Natural Heritage and Tourism was held on 21 April 2010 at Rame Zyberi kulla in Junik. This workshop involved engagement of political staff, Mr. Nimon Tofaj, the vice-mayor, professional staff from Junik Municipality, MuSPP/UN-HABITAT, CHwB, ISP, women group representatives, the owners of the kulla (traditional building), and OSCE.
First phase of conservation and restoration works in the Kulla of Hoxhaj Junik is completed

First phase of conservation and restoration works in the Kulla of Hoxhaj Junik is completed. CHwB in agreement with the Municipality Junik is restoring and preserving the Kulla of Hoxhaj.The first phase, funded by Swedish International Development Agency, Sida has provided conservation and restoration of stone walls, including windows and door frames, placing the entire structure of wood (beams and columns) and built a new roof of the building. It is also performed the drainage system.
Cooperation agreement signed between the Summer University of Prishtina and CHwB

On 13 April 2010, at the Rectorate building of the University of Prishtina, Co-operation Agreement has been signed between the Summer International University of Prishtina (PISU) and CHwB. On behalf of SIPU Agreement has been signed by Lulzim Pllana MA (Coordinator of PISU) whereas on behalf of CHwB was signed by Margareta Husén (Secretary General of CHwB).
