Activities:
Architectural documentation, including structure analysis, diagnosis, intervention measures, techniques, stages, etc, should be included in the conservation study, that is to be conducted by the multi-sectored team, led by an experienced expert.

A preliminary analysis on the character of the building, style, its importance within the urban context, experiences in similar cases, etc. has to be conducted prior to defining its new function/usage. In order to find a rational and acceptable solution it is necessary to conduct analysis and surveys on the possibilities of use in accordance with the needs of the community.

Intervention in the building to conserve and adapt the function to the demands of the interested parties will be the longest and most intensive phase of the project. Involvement of companies in conservation works, experts in monitoring and evaluation and of students as future experts, are some of the challenges to be met during this phase. Duration and working season will be defined during the preparation of conservation study.

Evaluation of the project marks the final phase of the project, underlining the lessons learnt and, at the same time, giving recommendations for similar works in the future.

A comprehensive report (as a brochure) will be published in the end on the project.
