Inauguration of Haxhi Zeka kulla in Leshan

On the 1st of June 2010 in the village of Leshan, municipality of Peja, was inaugurated kulla of Haxhi Zekës.Kulla of Haxhi Zekës is a monument under the protection of cultural heritage, thanks to its architectural and historical values.

On the 1st of June 2010 in the village of Leshan, municipality of Peja, was inaugurated kulla of Haxhi Zeka.Kulla of Haxhi Zekës is a monument under the protection of cultural heritage, thanks to its architectural and historical values.
Works for the restoration of the kulla were performed from October 2008 – October 2009 and are financed by the Ambassadors Fond of the U.S. Embassy in Pristina, in the amount of $ 57,000. The design, implementation, and professional assistance was made possible by the Swedish organization Cultural Heritage without Borders (CHwB).
Kulla of Haxhi Zeka restored in Leshan, will be on view to the needs of the community, as the country office, library and other spaces for youth.
